A journey begins with a brew
TSAOCAA — 朝茶 — reads as a pilgrimage to tea. The name joins 朝聖, pilgrimage, with 茶, tea: a search for the purest expression of the leaf.
Loose leaf, brewed to order
TSAOCAA was founded in 2018 and has grown to more than 80 shops across the United States. Every one of them brews the same way: loose-leaf tea, brewed fresh for your cup rather than poured from a powder mix or a batch that has been sitting all afternoon.
Once the tea is drawn it gets built the way you asked for it — organic milk, almond milk, soy milk or coconut water; sugar anywhere from none to full; ice to taste. The brown-sugar boba, the jasmine tea jelly and the house curry are all made here in Niles.
This shop is run by Reserved Food LLC (Tsaocaa Niles), on Civic Center Drive in Niles. Alongside the tea wall there is a whole kitchen: Korean-style corn dogs rolled in ramen, potato or crispy flakes; Thai-spiced popcorn chicken; braised beef and pork rice bowls; noodle soups; Hong Kong egg waffles; and milk bingsu big enough to share.

Brown-sugar boba cooked through the day, jasmine tea jelly set in-house, curry simmered slowly from our own recipe.

Where is TSAOCAA Niles?
We're at 812 Civic Center Dr, Niles, IL 60714, in the Civic Center Drive plaza just off Milwaukee Avenue.
What are your hours?
We're open seven days a week. Sunday to Thursday we’re open 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and Friday and Saturday until 11:00 PM.
Can I order ahead for pickup?
Yes. Order online through our ordering page and pick it up at the counter — the whole menu, with sugar and ice levels, is on there.
Do you serve food as well as boba?
We do. Alongside the tea wall there are Korean-style corn dogs, Thai-spiced popcorn chicken, bento rice bowls and noodle soups, Hong Kong egg waffles and milk bingsu.
Can I choose my sugar and ice level?
Most drinks let you pick a sugar level from 0% to 100% and an ice level. Choose them when you order.
